Meet the Office Staff
When calling Sakowitz Counseling, you will be greeted by a member of our warm and friendly office staff. Each is knowledgeable regarding insurance and scheduling issues and with kindness and compassion, will answer any questions and strive to meet the needs of each individual. Our goal is to meet the needs of every patient that calls and our office staff works hard to meet this goal.
Our staff are:
Lynn Sullivan - Office Manager
Lynn has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2001 and has been office manager since 2007. Lynn has had held numerous positions since joining the practice and oversees every aspect of the main office.
Candy Mees - Insurance Specialist
Candy has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2005. Candy is responsible for coordinating the successful payment of claims which includes checking benefits, requesting prior authorizations, and following up on claims..
Randee DeFranco - New Patient Coordinator
Randee has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2020. Randee has significant experience working in medical settings and is responsible for scheduling appointments and checking patient benefits.
Shawna Beam - New Patient Coordinator
Shawna has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2021. Shawna comes with prior front office experience and is responsible for answering telephone calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients in for office appointments.
Vanessa Guzman - New Patient Coordinator
Vanessa has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2022. Vanessa comes with a customer service background and is responsible for scheduling new patient appointments and checking patients insurance benefits. Vanessa is also fluent in Spanish.
Chrissy Mercado - Billing and Reimbursement Specialist
Chrissy has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2020. She is responsible for making sure our evaluations are reimbursed by the insurance companies. Chrissy has a background in I.T., prior to becoming our billing specialist.
Michele Rollino - Medical Records
Michele has been a member of Sakowitz Counseling since 2018. Michele is responsible for coordinating the release of medical records when requested as well as making sure surgeons receive faxed reports with 24 - 48 hours of the patients appointment.
