Our Team
Sakowitz Counseling is a 100% family owned and operated practice. Dr. Michael Sakowitz and Lynn Sakowitz, LCSW, founded Sakowitz Counseling over 40 years ago. Originally starting as a small private practice, over the years it has expanded into the substantial, vibrant hub, it is today with over 15 associates. Having grown up in and around the practice and filling many roles during her summer breaks as a high school student, their daughter (Corey) joined the practice as a therapist after completing her MSW degree at NYU. Then, her husband (Dr. James Glynn) joined the practice as a psychologist. They run every aspect of the practice together, which is why it has a warm, friendly, family atmosphere.
